Hello ADA Family!
As soon as March arrives, we don’t just think about Spring… we think about SUMMER! We have put the finishing touches on all of our 2025 Summer Programming which will be held in our Brandon, Rock Rapids, and Rock Valley locations this year. From Creative Movement to Competition level dancers, there is something for EVERYONE! Registration is now open!
As we are also looking ahead, we are planning for next season! Our number one priority is to serve you. Other things that we value here at ADA are:
Developing well-rounded dancers - focusing on building dancers up on a firm foundation of Ballet, Jazz, and Tap.
Focusing on the dancer as a whole - fostering intellectual, social/emotional health, and physical health through dance.
Employing only qualified teachers and providing them with on-going training and personal development opportunities.
and above all: Keeping kids happy, healthy, and safe in dance.

Parent Observation Week
We invite all parents to come watch your dancers in the last 10 minutes of class on the week of March 24th-27th. The kids will get to show off some of the skills they have learned so far this year, and demonstrate how far they have come on their recital routines. Keep in mind that dancers may act a little differently since their class is not their normal routine. It will be so fun to see what they have accomplished!
***Combined Classes (Beginning Combo, Intermediate Combo) will have parent observation for the last 20 minutes of class since they will have 3 different classes to cover.
Spring Picture Days
We use these photos in our yearbooks so please make plans to attend. :) Yearbooks are just like traditional school yearbooks and we want every dancer to shine in these. Your dancer will receive one for the Spring Recital and it’s fun for them to see their smiling face and their classmates as well. If you have two dancers who will take pictures, you can bring both dancers at one time. Our Spring Picture Days will be held on March 29-30. The schedule can be found HERE. We learned from our previous picture events that it works best for our families to come as a group, so you are more than welcome to bring all of the dancers in your family at one time instead of splitting up. These are individual photos, so no one will be left out if they can’t be here at a specific time. :)

Spring Break

Rental Costume Return
If your dancer is in one of our Children’s Classes (Intermediate Combo, Beginning Combo, Tutus & Tap Shoes, Creative Movement) their costume from the Winter Showcase needs to be returned as soon as possible. If costumes aren’t back to us by March 10th, your account will be charged for the costume.
Team Survey - 2025-2026 Season
On March 19th at 6:00pm we are having a Teams Informational ZOOM Meeting for anyone interested in joining our competition teams for next season. ADA Teams are designed for the student who desires a deeper experience with dance. The competition experience can provide dancers with many amazing outlets in opportunities that they cannot get elsewhere. Team dancers will perfect skills, become more flexible, improve their technique, and grow as an artist and overall person each week. The camaraderie and friendship your child will experience will last a lifetime, and give you some amazing memories along the way.
We have competing teams from ages 5 and up, and we would love to get an idea on how many teams we would be able to have next year. Progress Reports
We will be sending home progress reports at the end of April, with class placements and recommendations for next year. We believe that sending home progress reports is beneficial because it encourages open communication between teachers and parents, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding our dancers’ development and areas of improvement. Our goal is to enhance the overall dance experience for our students and their families. :)
