The director is Allison Kirby, who was born and raised in Southeast Texas where she grew up dancing and teaching at Sandy Calamia’s Danceworks in Groves. She studied tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, clogging and tumbling for 22 years within this studio which inspired her love for the art of dance and educating students - a love she wants to share with children in a fun and encouraging, yet disciplined atmosphere. Allison’s Dance Academy is open to the public and partners with its sister school, Monell Dance Interstate (MDI). Ms. Allison and Ms. Molly (MDI Director) offer a Dual Program in which certain classes crossover allowing students to enroll in both schools of dance. It is through the collaboration of these two programs that a bridging of dance studies has been created to provide young individuals the opportunities to choose their road of study. Students enrolled in the Dual program receive a discount on their monthly tuition program. For more information on MDI, contact email@example.com or 979-492-1124.
